Corpoworking and internal navigation: components of successful hybrid work
Reading time : 0 mn
Hybrid work has become the norm for many companies. However, it brings with it new challenges: unoccupied individual workstations, overcrowded meeting rooms... So, in order to reorganize spaces, companies must adapt their real estate strategies. This is where two new concepts come into play: corpoworking and internal navigation. Increasingly popular, they contribute greatly to facilitating the transition to hybrid work.
{{knowledge-1}}
Corpoworking, or "corporate working", is a concept that is similar to coworking - with the difference that it is applied inside a company's premises. It consists in subletting individual or collaborative spaces on your premises in order to welcome workers from outside your organization (freelancers, contractors, customers, service providers, etc.).
Corpoworking has been around since the mid-2000s, but the emergence of hybrid work has made it more popular. It contributes to meeting the new needs of employees, by allowing them to have a flexible workspace adapted to their activity.
The objective of corpoworking is to take the codes of coworking, while transposing them in your premises to revitalize and make profitable the unoccupied spaces.
Internal navigation consists of offering employees the possibility of working on "decentralized campuses", i.e. different sites of the company: they can, for example, move to the head office, or go to a branch office.
With this concept, you can offer your employees offices close to their homes. In addition, by changing their workplace, employees have the opportunity to exchange with colleagues from another team, which promotes collaboration and internal cohesion.
Corpoworking and internal employee navigation are emerging as effective solutions for furthering the implementation of hybrid work. However, while they offer more flexibility, they represent a major challenge for real estate teams and workplace managers. How do you manage these two new devices? How can we ensure that they are well harmonized with other work modes?
To help you implement corpoworking and internal navigation for your employees - and thus open up your organization - Worklib has created a methodology to support you in this transition.
