Privacy Policy
1- Which categories of data do we process?
We collect and process the following categories of data:
In general, we do not process data belonging to so-called "special" categories of personal data, i.e. data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership, genetic or biometric data for the purpose of identifying an individual, or data concerning health, sex life or sexual orientation. If we obtain such data, we process it only if the applicable law and a legal basis allow us to do so. For example, we may process such sensitive data where you have given your explicit consent to do so, where it is necessary for the exercise of a legal right or where you have manifestly made the data public.
2. How do we collect your personal data?
We obtain your personal data directly from you when you create an account to use the Worklib application or when you interact with us. We may also collect your data indirectly from third parties, including your employer when they request an account for you.
If you choose not to provide your personal data, it is possible that this may prevent us from processing your account creation request or providing you with some of our services, in particular the reservation of workspaces.
3. For what purposes do we process your data?
We process your personal data for the purposes detailed below.
4. What are the legal bases for processing your data?
We process your personal data under the legal bases described below. In some cases, more than one legal basis may apply to the same processing.
5. With whom is your data shared?
We may share your personal information with the categories of third parties listed below.
6. How do we handle international transfers of your data?
If we transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area (European Union, Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway), we ensure that appropriate safeguards are put in place to ensure an adequate level of protection for your data. These safeguards include the conclusion of standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission as well as, in certain cases, the use of additional safeguards to ensure that your data is protected in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR.
We are available to answer any questions you may have about the transfer of your data and the safeguards implemented and to obtain a copy of the standard contractual clauses (see paragraph 9 "How to contact us").
7. How long do we keep your data?
We retain your personal data for a limited period of time, not exceeding that necessary for the purposes described in paragraph 3 above. Generally, we retain your personal data for as long as you maintain a Worklib user account and for five years thereafter, except where we are required by law to retain your personal data for a longer period or where we are required to retain your data in connection with pending or threatened legal proceedings.
During the entire retention period of your data, we take technical and organizational security measures against data breaches, i.e. accidental or unlawful alteration or destruction of data or unauthorized access to such data.
8. What are your rights with respect to your personal data?
You have the following rights in relation to your personal data which you can exercise directly with us (see paragraph 9 "How to contact us")
9. How to contact us ?
If you have a question about the protection of your personal data or about your rights, in particular if you wish to exercise them with us, we invite you to contact us at the address below or by email(privacy@worklib.io).
