Transforming the way we work: interview with Naama

What are the issues involved in transforming the way we work, and what solutions are available? As part of the2nd session of the Worklab in June 2023, Julie Enjalbert, Director of Business Development at Naama, shares her views.

What is the Naama concept?

Naama is an operator of hybrid, flexible workspaces. Their ambition is to contribute to the transformation of working practices, through the creation and management of coworking spaces, but also by developing ahospitality management offer.

Naama recently opened a space in the Montparnasse Tower for its customers' events and needs.

Naama: a laboratory for transforming working practices

On a daily basis, Naama is experimenting with new ways of working. Coworking spaces are a veritable laboratory. They enable us to observe reactions and developments live, as well as accessing statistics and other data.

Naama makes it a point of honor to let employees from various sectors express themselves 100% in a space not monitored by their organization.

Naturally, employees will organize their days by preferring to hold confidential meetings at home, and choose coworking for moments of sharing. The operator has therefore proposed different, more intimate locations to meet their needs.

How to address territoriality in the age of hybrid work?

In France, the question of territoriality is very important for employees. They tend to choose a place and make it their own.Emotion is at the heart of this phenomenon, as employees, even if they also work in meeting rooms or elsewhere, will tend to return to a place where they feel comfortable. 

To meet this need for well-being, Naama has created inspiring places to attract and retain employees. Their bias is architecture. The company opts for aesthetics, convinced that having something beautiful to look at brings creativity. And coworkers are happy and proud to work in a beautiful space.

How do you encourage coworkers to connect?
