Worklib acquires its Belgian counterpart, Deskalot, and accelerates its expansion in Europe

‍Worklib announces the acquisition of Deskalot, Benelux's leading workspace rental platform and "corp-up" developed by HR services provider Partena Professional Group.

In April 2023, we revealed the acquisition of Neo-nomade, France's leading coworking space reservation service, as well as a €10 million fundraising. This new operation is in line with our development strategy: to become the leading platform for flexible workspaces. 🎯

The integration of Deskalot within the Worklib entity means that we can now offer our customers over 8,000 workspaces.

Who is Deskalot? Why this takeover? We explain it all! 👇

Hybrid working: a lasting trend that knows no borders

In recent years, hybrid working - the combination of remote working and office presence - has been on the rise worldwide. In France, more than 30% of the working population now do so. The same is true of Belgium and the Netherlands, which lead the way in Europe, with 37% and 51% of employees respectively teleworking (source: Eurofound).

Against this backdrop of profound transformation, many companies are still looking for an ideal model, and are faced with major challenges such as coordinating the presence of employees on site, collaboration, remote working conditions, reducing real-estate floor space...

"Today, work can be done anywhere, at any time. Employees and companies are looking for flexibility in their choice of workspaces, and for solutions that enable them to meet and succeed in their hybrid organization. And these needs don't stop at France's borders! This year, we note that almost 65% of our customers have international needs. So it's a trend that's both lasting and global." Baptiste Broughton, co-CEO of Worklib.

Deskalot integration by Worklib, a bridge between France and Benelux

👉 Worklib designs solutions dedicated to the organization of remote work and enables the management of all corporate workspaces. Its workspace management platform integrates the largest network of flexible workspaces in Europe.

Worklib is also a considerable asset, enabling employees to enjoy unique liberated work experiences by accessing the right spaces to work in the right places, whether in the office or elsewhere.

With the acquisition of Neo-nomade last April, Worklib has consolidated the largest network of flexible workspaces in France, with over 6,000 workspaces (1,300 addresses).

👉 Deskalot, is an online platform from Partena Professional that enables people or organizations with available workspace to rent it to those who need it.

Thanks to the merger with Deskalot, our customers will now have access to more than 1,800 flexible workspaces, representing 400 additional addresses in the Benelux from October 1, 2023. This operation is also accompanied by a strategic partnership between Worklib and the Partena Professional group to develop the Belgian market and offer new services to Partena Professional customers.

"I'm very proud of this tie-up with Worklib, which will breathe new life into this innovation we've been carrying at Partena Professional, and pleased that it can develop internationally. I'm also very admiring of the trajectory and growth of our partners, whom we welcome to the Belgian market with great pleasure." Bruno Ronsse, CEO of Partena.

"More than just a takeover of Deskalot's customers and managed spaces, Worklib is pursuing its global development strategy with a local anchor, thanks to a strategic partner: the Partena Professional group. We share the vision that HR services and solutions need to evolve rapidly to meet the needs of post-COVID companies, and it is with this in mind that we will be offering combined packages in Belgium that enable companies to meet the challenges posed by hybrid working and exploit its full potential." Alexandre Cadain, Chairman of Worklib

An international ambition: to become the leader in flexible workspaces

In the coming months, Worklib will continue its offensive roll-out in Europe and around the world. We are already present in Spain and Switzerland, and will be opening over 1,000 additional spaces in 6 European countries before the end of 2023. These new expansions will make Worklib the leading European network with over 9,000 flexible workspaces by early 2024.

"Our aim is to rapidly expand internationally to give our customers access to a global network of flexible spaces. The acquisition of Deskalot is part of this strategy: to be rapidly deployed in new countries to become the leading global platform for flexible workspaces." Baptiste Broughton, co-CEO of Worklib.
