Schneider Electric: coworking as an alternative to the home office

In spring 2022, Schneider Electric, a key player in digital transformation in the field of energy management and automation, set about rolling out a new teleworking agreement. This agreement was designed to enable employees to telework away from home. Find out how this transition came about, thanks to the coworking pass offered by worklib.

Schneider Electric employees' new expectations

With the advent of telecommuting, employees' needs have evolved. Meeting employees' new expectations and finding an alternative to working from home were therefore two major challenges for Schneider Electric.

The desire to reconcile professional and personal life effectively was at the heart of this approach. Emphasis was placed on reducing commuting time between home and work. By providing coworking spaces close to employees' homes, Schneider Electric was able to optimize their time and reduce travel-related fatigue.

The aim was also to be able to choose a workspace according to its uses, to boost productivity and guarantee employee well-being. Open spaces and meeting rooms encourage informal exchanges and collaboration between colleagues. Closed offices, on the other hand, facilitate concentration.

The deployment of this new agreement was designed to respond proactively to the new realities of the workplace, by placing the needs and well-being of our employees at the heart of our concerns.

Pass coworking: the alternative to home working

The solution chosen by Schneider Electric, worklib's coworking pass, proved to be an effective way of meeting these challenges.

This pass is based on a flexible workspace platform that enables :

  • manage reservations intuitively and functionally;
  • access to a vast network of workspaces throughout France.

Thanks to pre-defined usage credits, employees can choose and reserve coworking spaces that suit their needs and location, in complete autonomy.

In addition to the technological platform, worklib offers customized support via a dedicated support team.

With the coworking pass, Schneider Electric benefits from a comprehensive, well-thought-out solution, offering an optimal balance between flexibility, accessibility and strategic support.

For Schneider Electric, the coworking pass was the ideal alternative to home-based telecommuting, offering employees greater opportunities and freedom in their choice of workplaces. Performance indicators (reservation rates, satisfaction rates, etc.) are on the up, a sign of the project's success. Are you looking to offer your employees alternatives?
