BearingPoint makes coworking a pillar of its real estate strategy

Thanks to coworking spacescoworking spaces, BearingPoint has been able to respond to peak demand for its head office offices, encourage staff mobility and provide shared spaces to encourage socialization. The consulting firm chose the worklib solution to integrate coworking into its long-term real estate strategy. Here's a behind-the-scenes look at a successful gamble!

Strategic and human challenges

BearingPoint is a consulting firm specializing in management, technology and innovative investments. In 2018, its headquarters moved to the CBX Tower in La Défense. BearingPoint must now find a balance between all its working environments.

Responding to the new uses of consultants

BearingPoint aims to be at the forefront ofinnovation in work modes and environments, as well as hybrid practices in HR and real estate.

  • On the one hand, we had to address peak traffic and optimize the efficiency of the new offices at head office.
  • On the other hand, workspaces had toadapt to employees'needs

Consultants need spaces that are both collaborative and flexible to facilitate socializing, between customer meetings for example.

Separating personal and professional life

BearingPoint's HR teams wanted to find an alternative to the home office that would enable a real separation between the workplace and private life, and maintain the benefits of teleworking - i.e. limiting commuting time.

On-demand coworking facilities

To meet these new challenges, BearingPoint has opted for worklib's coworking pass. This is a platform for managing and reserving flexible workspaces throughout France, meeting the needs of the most demanding employees.

Shared workspaces and meeting rooms have been made available to consultants. These are reserved by the consultants through usage credits, enabling BearingPoint to keep its budget under control.

To make it as easy as possible to get to grips with the tool, the worklib teams have set up a local support service. The solution is flexible and capable of adapting to changes in the company's workforce, as demonstrated by BearingPoint's acquisition of iCare and Arcad.

After a successful test phase in the Paris region, the coworking telecommuting scheme has been extended throughout France. Today, 600 employees regularly use the worklib platform.

The worklib platform has won over both management and staff. A flexible, centralized solution that meets BearingPoint's evolving needs. It reflects the firm's commitment to innovation and continuous improvement of its employees' work experience.
